Our Story

At PupHut, we’re more than just a pet brand — we’re a family of dog lovers who understand firsthand the needs of active pups living under the harsh Australian sun.

Our journey began with Luna, our 10-year-old Border Collie x Labrador, who’s been part of our family since she was 6 weeks old. Luna has always loved being outdoors — whether it’s chasing a ball, lounging in the backyard, or just soaking up the fresh air. But as she’s gotten older, we noticed that long hours in the heat took a toll on her. She would get hot quickly, and her joints began to stiffen after lying on hard or hot surfaces.

We wanted something better for her — something that would keep her cool, relieve pressure on her joints, and protect her from the sun without keeping her locked indoors. That’s how PupHut was born.

Our elevated, load-bearing dog beds are thoughtfully designed with comfort and health in mind. Raised off the ground, they promote airflow to keep dogs cool, while the built-in canopy provides essential shade from the elements. The supportive structure helps relieve pressure on hips and joints, making it perfect for older dogs like Luna or any pup who deserves a little extra comfort outdoors.
